Yup – NO break room treats today!! I win with the final score of 4-0 AWESOMENESS!!
This morning I woke up hhhuuuunnnngary and ready for spin!! Friday’s are my absolute favorite because of the instructor, so it’s never a “chore” to wake up at the butt-crack of dawn to get to this class! I had pretty random pre and post workout breakfasts this morning too
Pre-workout food: a small glass of chocolate milk, an individual cup of unsweetened applesauce, a glob of peanut butter, and half a banana. I smushed the nanner and mixed everything up – it was actually quite tasty!! I am noticing that I have a banana almost every single day – Scott doesn’t eat bananas at all so I’m constantly trying to use them up.
I also had some Powerade Zero for spin– I usually only fill my water bottle with about a cup, and then the rest with water. I’m a heavy AND salty sweater, so I definitely do better with a bit of electrolyte replacement during a workout.
and yea… Salami kept trying to attack a cord on the camera so this shot took me about 5 minutes to get!! He’s so focused!! haha

As mentioned in earlier posts, I literally cannot remember everything that happens in a Friday spin class – the instructor literally changes things EVERY song (which makes it go by INCREDIBLY fast). However, I’m pretty darn sure it went something like this today:
Warm up, Flat, Hill, Recovery Flat, Fast Flat, Working Flat, Hill, Recovery Flat, Flat, Sprint (3 mins), Recovery Flat, Medium Flat, Medium Flat, Hill, Recovery Flat, Cool down
yea…. “something” like that

Post workout I had another random bit of food… I am tending to run a weeee bit late after workouts so I have to just throw some random crud together to eat!
I present the “Peanut Butter Eggo Waffle Taco”
A toasted Low Fat Whole grain Eggo, a thin layer of Peanut Butter, half of a Peanut Butter cookie Luna Bar (leftover from two days ago), and the other half of my banana! Peanut butter on top of Peanut Butter??? HECK YES!!! This was absolutely YUMMY and I loved the texture of the Luna bar with the soft squishy mess of everything else . Eaten Taco style Epic. Win.
Either I was just ravenous today, or I could’ve used more breakfast #2 because about 2 hours later I grabbed a Strawberry Brown Cow 0% Greek Yogurt… and DUMPED a baggie filled with rolled oats and cinnamon in it. FFFFeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed ME!!
I had a doctor’s appointment today too (hello Flu shot!!) so I was trying to cram in a bunch of work in the morning. I grabbed an apple on the way out because I was a smidge hungry and assumed I’d be starving by the time I got out. (This was again… about 2 hours later lol)
Well, yea… that definitely was the case! What was supposed to be a 20min appointment turned out to be an hour so I was RAVENOUS when I was done. I WAS super stoked about my Bugs Bunny band aid though!
I got back to the office and grabbed my lunch of a turkey/cheese/hummus/avocado/spinach/cucumber on a whole wheat wrap, some Honey Sesame Kashi Crackers, and a Mango Coconut Water. Even though I LOVED the last coconut water, this one is just okay for me… I’m not sure I’m a mango fan.
Around 2:45 I got hungry again(seriously… 2 hours later again) I munched on some homemade trail mix of almonds, raisins, Kashi cereal, and a cup of tea.
I didn’t want to get too full because Scott and I are headed out on a date night for SUSHI!! I haven’t had the stuff since we were in Washington back in the beginning of September I want me some California rolls!!
I will probably have some pics either tonight or sometime tomorrow of dinner Sushi is too pretty not to photograph!
